Employee records system: every employee's record on one page

An employee records system keeps each employee's whole record in one place instead of in personnel files and spreadsheets. In the View employee demo, staff search by employee ID or name and open one page with the employee's assignment, schedule, addresses, contacts, driving, promotions, relatives, trainings and personnel records, and save changes with a comment. Open it from the Human Resources dashboard, on a fictional county's data, with no sign-up.

Finding an employee

Search by employee ID, last name or first name; the name fields suggest matches as you type.

What the record holds

Personal information, shown read-only, and tabs for Assignment, Personal Address, Contacts, Work Location, Driving, Emergency Contacts, Promotions, Relatives, Trainings, Personnel Records and Safety Incidents. Some tabs are shown only to roles allowed to see them.

Changing a record

Staff change only the values the system allows, such as an employee's status, mailing address, extra phone numbers and driving licence status, and a save can carry a comment that stays with the record. Emergency contacts, driving cases, promotions, relatives and personnel records are added and edited in their own dialogs. Entries are checked when saved: a phone number must have ten digits, and a ZIP code five or nine.

Who sees what

Access follows the user's role. The public demo opens as an EMS user, who can see and change employee records but not safety incidents.

Part of the Human Resources dashboard

Employee records open from the Human Resources dashboard, which shows each module's key figures. The Training module uses the same employees, so a course's trainees are chosen from the employee records.

Each system includes an AI assistant that answers staff questions from that system's own records. It reads the data and never changes a record. It is not open in the no-sign-up demos: see it in a walk-through, or use it in a pilot.
