Capital Improvement Plan demo: the how-to video

An 11-minute walkthrough of the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) demo on CivicWorks, recorded for people opening it for the first time. Starting from the catalog, it covers the Dashboard's multi-year revenue and expenditure summary; browsing, searching, sorting, and adding programs; filtering projects by their health flags; and a project's detail page, where revenue schedules and expenditures are edited in place, formulas and funding links are set, and comments are added. It then follows a budget transfer from request to approval with a budget journal entry, exports a report, reads the CIP scope matrix, manages facilities and allowed project types, archives and restores a project, locks and unlocks the application from the Budget Adoption page, opens the User Guide, asks the AI Assistant a question about the plan, looks at roles in the account menu, and ends on the Developer page with a reset of the demo data. The demo runs on a fictional county's capital plan; agencies that want to see it on their own data can request the fifteen-day pilot.
